There is probably not enough fuel in the bowl to cause hydro lock as long as the bowls cannot refill. 3: The fuel tank is pressurizing and overcoming the float valve forcing fuel through the carb. I believe tanks pressurizing were a problem on Adventure models and some guys did a flapendectomy as shown in HOW to solve the problem. MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS. I do a lot of touring at constant speed 100km/h but the best fuel consumption I have got per tank is 6,9l/100km. This was only with constant speed of 90km/h, no traffic and cities. My average is 8l/100km. And if I push the bike then it`s very easy to go over 10l/100km.

My ktm has extreme fuel consumption about 10 or 11 liters per 100km, really dont know what is wrong. Main jets are 160/165 Mixture screws 2.125 out Pilot jet 45 Needle on 3rd position from top. All other is stock. The bike runs fine. Im driving like old man, no track or anything just driving around no racing Can you help me what can i do KTM developed a better but more complicated and expensive solution for the Duke and 950s, the EPS system. Does exactly the same thing but - as we all know - can be deactivated in a second. An all gear run on the Dyno with a CV carbed bike immediatly reveals if the slide speed is right. On the 950 it's spot on. Yw1B. 63 313 164 92 429 37 449 345 307
