Losing 8-10% over nearly a year and a half is no problem. It probably helped that I stopped traveling last year but even so, if it got bad enough, a battery replacement through Apple is easy. Also have an 11 Pro Max, pretty heavy user as well, my battery life is sitting at 89% and I got mine at launch.

If your device needs battery service, make sure that the battery percentage is at 30% or less when you bring it in, if possible. This will save time on your repair. Turn off Apple Cash and remove your cards and passes. If your device is unresponsive, sign in to appleid.apple.com, select Devices, then select the unresponsive device.
