There is no "devmode" in Far Cry 2, only in Far Cry (og) The second option to enable cheats is to do launch arguments(ie add '-GameProfile_GodMode 1' to the game's launch arguments) , which, in the end, does the exact same thing that this guide does.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. Ubisoft Connect does not recognize Far Cry 2. The game was never ment to launch with any of their softwares. If you want to have Far Cry 2 on Ubisoft Connect, you will need to purchase it from the Ubisoft Store.
As far as i understand it, you're given one or two options at any given time. If, for example, you're going for mission n.5 and you see one option it'll always be one option at that stage, irrespective of which ones you've chosen previously.
